Slowly but surely, the weather is getting colder and summer is over. Autumn has been my favourite season for a while, I love it when the leaves turn yellow and red and brown, the sunshine in September when it's still nice and warm but not boling anymore and I don't even mind the rainy weather either, as long as we don't have way too much of it. At least I get to wear my shawls and hats and mitts more often ;)
Being a fan of Autumn, I really enjoyed designing the Hazel Collection last year. If you would like to knit a piece from this collection, I have good news for you!
Come and join us on our Caribbean Cruise, knit up lovely shawls in great company and win one of the crafty prizes! Sweet-scented Frangipani flowers will meet us at the first stop, followed by a fresh Tropical Morning, and finally we will say goodbye after enjoying the beautiful Caribbean Sunset.

This Autumn, I'm taking you on an imaginary Caribbean Cruise with three beautiful beaded shawls to knit.
The collection is available with a 20% discount (coupon code: "preorder") on ravelry until all three shawls are released.
I'm so happy to let you know that I have a pattern in the book 60 Quick Luxury Knits! My Cable and Eyelet Shawl uses just two skeins of Cascade Yarns Venezia Sport.

Those laCy, hazy, crazy days of summer..:) It's summer again, the perfect time to knit something lacy. And just like last year, there's a 3 for 2 sale on select lacy patterns in my ravelry store.
For technical reasons, the discount is available on ravelry only (however, you don't have to have a ravelry account). Add all 3 desired patterns to your ravelry shopping cart, use the COUPON CODE "lacysummer14" and you will get one of them for free.
The discount is available through July 31, 2014.
The collection and all 3 shawls are 20% off on ravelry with the coupon code “preorder”.

|Drizzle is the second shawl in my weather-themed collection. It's crescent-shaped and worked from the top down.|
|And last but now least, Rainbow, my first beaded design. If you haven't tried beading yet, I can highly recommend it. You'll find an illustrated tutorial in the pattern.|
I'm working on a new shawl collection. The first pattern is going to be a re-release; Mist was first published in Knit Now last Spring. While the end result is still going to be the same, I have completely re-written the directions for the self-published version (and included written-out instructions and US measurements as well). The pattern is now in testing, we are trying out various yarn weights from lace to fingering. So exciting! The collection is going to come out this Summer and I'll show you the second shawl soon :)
